Arriving By Car

It is easy to travel to the Shipwreck Treasure Museum by car, however the historic port can become busy during the summer months, therefore we recommend arriving early to avoid traffic. From the A30 follow directions to St Austell, and you’ll find Charlestown is well signposted from here. We recommend parking in the Charlestown Car Park (charges apply) which is visible from the Shipwreck Treasure Museum and just a short walk away past the beautiful views of the historic harbour.
