Retail Therapy in Charlestown

As well as fun activities for the whole family there are also opportunities for the fashion forward to indulge in a little retail therapy on their next visit to the historic port, including shopping spots such as the Joules pop-up store and the Merchants of Charlestown.

The Merchants of Charlestown gift shop can be found in the Charlestown Shipwreck Treasure Museum building and offers a variety of nautical treasures, Poldark themed gifts, sea worthy books and authentic shipwreck coins.

Whilst there’s a treasure trove of pirate and mermaid themed gifts for young scallywags there is also an exclusive selection of fine wines, rum, cognac, and other goods that are delivered into Charlestown Harbour by the Grayhound, a three-masted customs lugger that travels around Europe selling high-quality food goods.

As well the Charlestown Shipwreck Museum gift shop there is also, new for 2019, a Joules Pop-Up store. The retailer has collaborated with Charlestown’s Shipwreck Treasure Museum, now providing visitors with a family shopping destination alongside Europe’s largest private collections of shipwreck artefacts. Joules offers a range of clothing for women, men and children, as well as accessories and homeware – they even offer outfits and pet beds for your four-legged friends! Their steadfast focus on connecting with the Joules customer and continuing to meet their lifestyle needs results in collections to see through the seasons in style.

The Joules store will be open 10am – 5pm Monday – Sunday a, found within the Shipwreck Treasure Museum. Click & Collect and order in store services will be available for customers.
