Arrival and Parking:

Welcome and Entrance to Tunnel of Lights:

Please make your way to the new Ticket Office at your pre-booked time slot. Please have your Tunnel of Lights confirmation email or booking reference ready to be checked off by our Ticket Office Team.

This is a self-led experience through underground tunnels. Even though the tunnels may be shielded from the Cornish Weather, we recommend sturdy footwear and waterproofs, as there are some parts of the experience that are outdoors, and the tunnels may be wet due to the occasional flooding. Some sections of the paths are narrow, however there are passing points provided to allow for safe passing. The entrance and exit are one way, however, there are moments in the experience where you will have to turn around on yourself.

The route should take an average of 40mins, but this of course depends on the visitor.

Toilets:

The main toilets are located at the exit of the Tunnel of Lights experience, halfway through the journey.

Regular hand sanitation points are located across The Tunnel of Lights route and within our amenities.

Access information:

Should you have any additional accessibility needs, please notify us ahead of your visit via email by clicking here, or phone on 01726 69897 and we will do our best to ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible.

The Tunnel of Lights route will take you along some gentle slopes and some narrow paths. Some paths may be wet due to flooding.

We do not recommend that Buggys access the space and will provide a ‘buggy parking’ station at the start of the route.

The paths are suitable for wheelchairs; however, the exit is inaccessible with stairs. Should a visitor need an alternative exit route then the Shipwreck Treasure Museum Team will be happy to assist.

The route will lead you from the new Ticket Office, through the Tunnels and up into the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, following a one-way self-led route.

Additional event safety and access information:

The Shipwreck Treasure Museum, and our staff, are working hard to ensure the safety of you and your family throughout your visit with us. This means adhering to any government guidelines should they be put in place. We reserve the right to implement any safety measures should it be deemed necessary.
